Jasmine on course for employment success

The grass is definitely greener on the other side for Jasmine, whose employment journey with MatchWorks started in early 2023.

Having overcome a brain tumour, Jasmine lives with vision impairment and left-side weakness.

Jasmine’s resilience and determined attitude helped MatchWorks work with her to explore her career goals and develop employability skills.

MatchWorks Employer Engagement Partner Nick organised meetings with potential employers in the Adelaide Hills for Jasmine to showcase her strengths and willingness to work.

Her persistence paid off when she successfully gained a role with The Stirling Golf Club.

Jasmine eagerly attends each shift and takes great pride in how she maintains the club’s facilities for members and guests, ensuring it’s clean at all times.

Her success has flown from her attitude and happy nature, which have made her a valued member of the golf club’s team.

Jasmine is supported by her manager at The Stirling Golf Club, Warwick, who provides an inclusive and flexible workplace, which has helped Jasmine thrive. Warwick is thrilled to have Jasmine as part of the team.

“Jasmine has quickly become an integral part of our staff,” Warwick said.

“Her dedication and hard work contribute greatly to the overall experience of members at our club.”
