Ongoing support to help you succeed

We’ll give you the best start in your new job and deliver ongoing support for at least 12 months. We can offer up to 52 weeks of post-placement support to help you maintain employment. We can assist you with the following:

  • Settling into your role.
  • Supporting you to communicate with your manager.
  • Strategies to manage personal issues that could impact your work.
  • Links to health, training and community supports.
  • Assistance to access NDIS supports if applicable.

We tailor the level and type of ongoing job support to suit you and your new employer’s needs and circumstances.

If you are hired as part of Disability Employment Services (DES), you and your employer may also be eligible for further ongoing support beyond the initial six-month post-placement period.

Am I eligible for Disability Employment Services?

To be eligible for Disability Employment Services:

  • I have a diagnosed injury, illness or disability.
  • I’m receiving an Income Support payment or pension.
  • I’m aged between 14 and 65.
  • I’m at or above the minimum working age (check the laws in your state).
  • I’m an Australian resident.
  • I’m not studying full-time (unless I’m an eligible school leaver).
  • I can work at least eight hours weekly (with support if needed).
  • I’m not currently working at or above my assessed employment capacity.
