Our fraud and improper conduct policies and procedures

MatchWorks, and our parent company genU, are committed to the highest standards of conduct and ethical behaviour. We do not tolerate fraud or improper conduct by our employees, partners or clients. Our behaviour and conduct must always reflect our guiding principles of acting with compassion, integrity, inclusiveness and transparency.

genU has appropriate policies and procedures in place. This includes a whistleblower program that empowers staff, partners, clients, family members and advocates to play an active role in the elimination of improper conduct.

Part of this program is access to Stopline, a confidential, independent provider of whistleblowing services. Here, you can report suspected:

  • Theft
  • Fraud
  • Dishonesty
  • Bullying and Harassment
  • Policy breaches
  • Unethical behaviour
  • Workplace safety hazards

Expert forensic investigators will take full details of your concerns and report incidents to dedicated representatives within genU. Individuals can remain anonymous when reporting misconduct and translation services are available upon request.

Disability Employment Services – Department of Social Services Reporting

All reports of suspected fraudulent activity committed against the Department of Social Services (DSS) and its programs will be investigated, unless considered to be frivolous or vexatious.

To report suspected fraud or misconduct against DSS contact the DSS Fraud Hotline on 1800 133 611, or email fraud@dss.gov.au.

People using the Internet should take care not to send sensitive information via email or attachments to emails. If you have information that requires secure transmission, please contact the DSS Audit and Assurance Branch by leaving a message, with contact details, on the DSS Fraud Hotline number on 1800 133 611 (24 hour service). A DSS fraud investigator will return your call so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

The Department of Employment and Department of Social Services monitors the way employment services are delivered for the Australian Government.

MatchWorks is required meet the standards of service and behaviour set out in the Employment Services Code of Practice and Service Guarantees, as well as meeting the Disability Service Standards.
