MatchWorks Partners with Zoos Victoria for Disability Access Inclusion Plan
MatchWorks is proud to have been part of the official launch of Zoos Victoria’s Disability Access Inclusion Plan 2024-2027, an initiative aimed at fostering greater accessibility and inclusivity within the organisation. The recent event was attended by key stakeholders committed to promoting employment and inclusion opportunities for people with disabilities.
Boyd Hatty, MatchWorks’ DES Employer Engagement Lead, played a pivotal role in supporting Zoos Victoria’s journey towards greater inclusivity.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Boyd shared, “Over the past nine months, I have had the pleasure of representing MatchWorks in assisting, educating, and supporting Zoos Victoria to further broaden their knowledge around the DES Program, Employment Services, and Recruitment Processes. MatchWorks was formally recognised as a partner during the launch of Zoos Victoria’s Disability Access Inclusion Plan 2024-2027. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Zoos Victoria to create inclusive employment opportunities for all.”
The launch event featured distinguished speakers, including Dr Jenny Gray, CEO of Zoos Victoria; Jantine Eddelbuttel, Director of Human Resources; Jo Dunbar, Access & Inclusion Coordinator; Deb Deshayes, Disability Inclusion Advisory Group; Natasha Bowness from the Bowness Foundation; and David Tran from the Australian Disability Network. Each speaker highlighted the importance of fostering an inclusive environment that embraces diversity and accessibility across all areas of the workplace.
MatchWorks is proud to be a partner in this journey and remains committed to supporting businesses in creating inclusive employment pathways. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Zoos Victoria and other like-minded organisations dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the community.
