Deakin Students Gain Hands on Experience
Four students from Deakin University are embarking on a 14 week full-time student placement with MatchWorks.
As part of their placement, the students will gain hands-on experience in the role of an Employment Services Coordinator, working closely with staff at MatchWorks’ Corio and Geelong offices. This opportunity will provide the students with valuable industry insights, practical skills, and exposure to the dynamic field of employment services.
MatchWorks, a leading provider of employment and disability employment services, is committed to fostering emerging talent and equipping students with real-world experience to support their professional growth.
“We’re excited to welcome these Deakin University students and support them in developing the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the employment services sector,” said Keith Canfield, Site Manager at MatchWorks Geelong.
The program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical workforce experience, ensuring students leave with a strong foundation for their future careers.
