Noarlunga job seeker gains employment following internship
Noarlunga job seeker Shaun came to MatchWorks in October 2017 wanting to find employment in the digital marketing industry.
Shaun already had some great skills in this industry, but required further support and confidence.
MatchWorks team members in Noarlunga and Oaklands Park helped Shaun secure a Digital Marketing/Administration Internship with D&S Resources Pty Ltd through the Australian Government Youth Jobs PaTH program.
MatchWorks team member Holly Byrne said it has resulted in the perfect match for Shaun and the employer.
“Shaun is a young, energetic co-founder of an Event Management/Social Media Marketing Initiative, who has gained extensive knowledge and experience in this industry. The opportunity to compliment this further by completing an internship in his chosen field was an exciting option for him,” Holly said.
“Shaun has been able to purchase a vehicle since commencing work, loved his placement experience and is growing from strength to strength.”
The employer Andres Donoso is extremely happy with Shaun and impressed at MatchWorks for putting the job seeker forward. Shaun finished his internship and has now started as a full-time employee.
“He brings skills in digital marketing and is helping us expand our online presence, while learning more about what we do at D&S Resources,” Andres said.
