Wan-Yaari teams with MatchWorks to deliver pre-employment program
Local Aboriginal consultancy service Wan-Yaari has teamed with Matchworks to enhance and improve interaction with the Indigenous community through a pilot pre-employment program.

The 12-week program delivered by Wan-Yaari involved 10 Indigenous job seekers from the Barwon region, who graduated yesterday during NAIDOC Week.
The program has provided a holistic approach and covered varying topics including: cultural strengthening and well-being, personal development, and preparing participants for employment.
Participants have also received one-on-one mentoring throughout the weekly program. MatchWorks will continue to market the job seekers and assist them in their journey to find meaningful and ongoing employment.
Wan-Yaari are also delivering a pre-employment program at the Warrnambool MatchWorks site for Indigenous job seekers in the South Coast region.
