MatchWorks hosts successful networking night

MatchWorks hosted a networking night in partnership with the Frankston Business Network, which involved local employers and jobactive and DES job seekers from the Peninsula region.

More than 100 guests attended the networking night held at the City of Frankston Bowling Club on Wednesday May 10 and enjoyed gift packs, door prizes and catering from genU Business Enterprises.

Guests viewed the ‘See Beyond the Resume’ video and also heard from current employers Nina and Upali from SAI Home and Community Care and DES job seeker Sotirios about their experience with MatchWorks’ employment services.

MatchWorks Executive Director Renae Lowry said this event was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the amazing employment outcomes of our job seekers and to acknowledge the relationship we have with local employers.

“These networking events are also a great way to showcase our employment services to potential employers and to build relationships in the local community,” Renae said.

“More than 40,000 Australian employers have found job-ready people thanks to MatchWorks and we are committed to continuing this effort and assisting local employers with their recruitment needs.”
