Update for our South East QLD community

Following the lockdown announced by the QLD Government over the weekend, our offices across South East Queensland have moved to phone and online servicing from today Monday 2 August through to Friday 6 August inclusive.

Our teams, including our Health and Wellbeing professionals, are available to support you during this challenging time. Lockdowns can be difficult and talking to one of our dedicated health and wellbeing team members may help support your mental health. Please call your local office or 1300 13 23 63 to arrange a time.

Job seekers

Mutual obligation requirements for job seekers and participants in South-East Queensland were put on hold from Saturday 31 July and will remain in place until Thursday 5 August 2021 inclusive.

This temporary suspension applies to job seekers and participants in the Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Logan City, Noosa, Redlands, Scenic Rim, Somerset, and Sunshine Coast Local Government Areas. It is relevant to job seekers in jobactive, Online Employment Services, Disability Employment Services and participants in ParentsNext. Please visit https://www.dese.gov.au/covid-19/job-seekers for more details.

Employers

Our teams are here to support our QLD employers during lockdown. Please continue to reach out to your local office for recruitment and post-placement support as needed. This includes Health and Wellbeing support for employees placed through MatchWorks. Contact us for more details or call 1300 13 23 63.

If your business has been impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak, you may be eligible for financial assistance or other types of relief.

Take care and stay safe.
