MatchWorks and Reclink combine for activity
Geelong MatchWorks Work for the Dole coordinators partnered with Reclink Australia to deliver a multi-faceted beautification WFD project at the Corio-Norlane Uniting Church.
The 26-week project was a huge success with a focus on improving garden space, installing raised vegetable gardens, new seating areas, and a complete revegetation of the gardens and plant life.

Job seekers learned a variety of horticultural and landscaping skills, as well as gaining experience in construction and building. A few long-term unemployed jobseekers gained employment just weeks into the project.
UnitingCare Norlane offer emergency relief and practical assistance to people in times of financial and person crisis, and have praised MatchWorks WFDC and Reclink for their contribution and hard work in supporting the church with this project.
This WFDC project was a Federal Government funded initiative.
