MatchWorks Disability Employment Services sites receive promising results

MatchWorks DES sites in Victoria and South Australia have received their performance results for the end of the June 2017 Star Rating period.

Some highlights include the Elizabeth (SA) site receiving the maximum 5-star rating and Torquay’s Employment Support Service and Disability Management Service programs achieving five and four star ratings respectively. Noarlunga (SA), Morphett Vale (SA), Belgrave and Colac sites also received an overall 4-star rating.

Eight MatchWorks sites have improved a star, while St Laurence’s Geelong and Warrnambool sites have also shown an improvement in DMS and received an overall 3-star rating.

MatchWorks Executive Director Renae Lowry said the most recent DES stars are just one reflection of the work our teams are doing on the ground with our participants to boost employment opportunities and change lives.

“MatchWorks has a solid base heading into the grant bid submission process for future DES contractual arrangements starting from July 2018, with many of our contracts to receive an Invitation to Treat, and as it aligns itself to the DES Reforms announced by the Australian Government,” Renae said.

The Disability Employment Services Star Ratings system measures the relative success of providers in achieving outcomes for job seekers taking part in the program. Job seekers and employers can use star ratings to help them choose the right provider for them.
