MatchWorks Disability Employment Services sites receive pleasing results

MatchWorks DES sites in Victoria and South Australia have received positive performance results for the end of the September 2017 Star Rating period.

Some highlights include the Elizabeth and Morphett Vale sites in South Australia receiving the maximum 5-star rating and Torquay’s Employment Support Service (ESS) and Disability Management Service (DMS) programs achieving five and four star ratings respectively.

ESS contracts in Noarlunga, Belgrave, Flemington and East Geelong, as well as DMS contracts in Preston and Greensborough, all received an overall 4-star rating.

Out of 54 MatchWorks DES sites, 13 have improved a star and 41 sites have held or improved percentile position.

MatchWorks Executive Director Renae Lowry said the improvement in the most recent DES star ratings represents the hard work our teams are doing on the ground with our participants.

“With new DES contextual arrangements commencing from July 2018, there is a clear focus on providing an engaging and effective participant journey and continuing to make a positive difference to people’s lives and in the communities in which we operate,” Renae said.

The Disability Employment Services Star Ratings system measures the relative success of providers in achieving outcomes for job seekers taking part in the program. Job seekers and employers can use star ratings to help them choose the right provider for them.
