MatchWorks DES sites achieve outstanding results

8 MARCH 2017

MatchWorks Disability Employment Services (DES) sites in Victoria and South Australia have received their performance results for the end of the December 2016 Star Rating period.

Some highlights include the Preston, Flemington and Morphett Vale  sites receiving the maximum 5 stars, while Corio, Torquay, Ocean Grove, Elizabeth, and Broadmeadows sites achieved 4 stars.

MatchWorks Executive Director Renae Lowry said the most recent DES stars are a great reflection of the work our teams are doing on the ground with people with a disability.

“The improvement across the board represents the energy and importance of achieving inclusion for all of our job seekers in a challenging employment environment,” she said.

“As it becomes more and more difficult to find sustainable employment, the challenge is multiplied for those with a disability and the MatchWorks DES team have stepped up to the challenge and are making a remarkable difference.  ”

The Disability Employment Services Star Ratings system measures the relative success of providers in achieving outcomes for job seekers taking part in the program. Job seekers and employers can use star ratings to help them choose the right provider for them.
