Fire Safe Services, Spotless and MatchWorks recently met to discuss how MatchWorks can assist Spotless with the 300-plus contractors they engage with in South Australia and to increase employment opportunities for MatchWorks job seekers.

MatchWorks team member Rod McInnes and Fire Safe Services Manager Geoff Browne have maintained a relationship for more than 30 years.

As a result of this relationship, MatchWorks job seeker Antony was employed as an Administration Officer in May 2017 and can utilise his Business Studies qualifications. Antony has Multiple Sclerosis and was unemployed for 12 months.

“MatchWorks has provided us with employment support and guidance as well as wage subsidies. They have provided a great service and an excellent job match with Antony. It has been a very positive outcome for us and the job seeker,” Geoff said.

Rod McInnes said the positive result was due to a number of factors.

“The communication between the owner and key staff of the business, the job seeker and myself has been the secret to this success.”
