Inclusive Employment Australia will replace Disability Employment Services (DES) on 1 November 2025
The new program will help create a more inclusive future where people with disability as well as those with injury or health condition can get support to prepare for, find and maintain work, and grow their career.
This new program makes sure people using the service are at the centre of the support they receive. It will give better support to people with disability and make it easier for employers to hire inclusively.
What do current DES participants need to do?
If you’re a current DES participant, you do not need to do anything yet. You will receive individual communications and support about the new program prior to its commencement.
