Important update for Victorian job seekers and employers
Following the announcement of the Victorian 7-day lockdown, MatchWorks employment services will move to remote service delivery across Victoria.
Mutual obligation requirements have been suspended for job seekers and in Victoria from Thursday, 27 May 2021 to Monday, 7 June 2021 inclusive. This applies to jobactive, Online Employment Services, ParentsNext and Disability Service Participants. Victorian job seekers and participants will not be subject to compliance action or payment suspensions if they are unable to meet requirements for this period.

Please reach out for support if you need it – we’re here to assist you through this challenging time and can help you access many services including mental health support if required. Employers can also continue to access our services remotely.
Subject to no additional announcements from the Victorian Government, MatchWorks offices across Victoria will re-open on Monday 7 June at 9am. We will keep you informed of any updates as they emerge.

Special circumstances exemptions will continue to be available from Services Australia for job seekers and participants who require them, including people directly impacted by COVID-19.
We also encourage you to seek medical advice if you’re experiencing any COVID symptoms (including but not limited to cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, body aches or fatigue).
