Geelong cleaning company embraces St Laurence job seekers
AGM Cleaning is a commercial cleaning company that has been servicing the Geelong region for 24 years.

St Laurence developed a strong relationship with the company in 2000, after AGM cleaning owner Martin Nolan approached St Laurence MyWORK searching for more employees.
AGM Cleaning has employed more than 20 St Laurence job seekers with a disability since 2000 and currently has five job seekers with a disability employed.
“We were looking for people for work so we went to St Laurence,” Martin said.
“Our Employment Development Officer Jo Falcone has always made herself available to us. She knows what we are looking for and we have very good communication. If she knows someone will suit us, she will let us know and if any issues arise we are straight on the phone to her.
“We are very happy with the employees we have gained through St Laurence and we are giving them the appropriate training needed for the job. It feels good to be giving the job seekers an opportunity to do something. It gives them a confidence boost, and they now take pride in their work and feel valued.”
