Accor helps provide employment path
A partnership between MatchWorks and Accor Hotels Australia has given Indigenous Queensland job seekers a pathway to employment.
MatchWorks job seekers Tony, Shoneil and Ruth completed the first Indigenous pre-employment partnership program with Accor in Queensland earlier this year and are now working with the hotel chain.

Indigenous Employment Consultant Karen Muir guided participants through the program and attended their graduation and initial interviews.
MatchWorks Regional Manager Paul Hethorn said the partnership with Accor had been an exciting success.
“Congratulations to our three candidates and thank you to Accor and all our team members in helping make this program a success,” Paul said.
