MatchWorks opens new Bacchus Marsh office

20 FEBRUARY 2017

The new MatchWorks Bacchus Marsh office is in full swing following its official opening last week.

The opening event, on Thursday February 16, was attended by local employers, training and education organisations, Department of Social Services representatives, MatchWorks staff and many others.

The evening began with a ‘Welcome to Country’ from Joanne Layton. Guests also heard from Karingal St Laurence CEO Mike McKinstry, MatchWorks Executive Director Renae Lowry and were introduced to the MatchWorks Bacchus Marsh team.

Site manager Boyd Hatty said the new Bacchus Marsh office promotes and facilitates community engagement with an open-plan service model.

“Since moving into the new building, job seeker, employer and staff engagement has been at an all-time high with positive feedback from stakeholders regarding service delivery, office setup and location,” Boyd said.

MatchWorks Bacchus Marsh is also proudly celebrating its 19th year as part of the Bacchus Marsh & Moorabool Shire community and has serviced thousands of job seekers and employers in that time.
