WorkLinks is an initiative developed in collaboration with Kommercial, SupportWorks, MatchWorks and BacLinks. It aims to guide, train and support young people who are accessing Karingal day programs and are looking to work in the future.
WorkLinks is based on experiential learning and involves a range of outdoor education experiences to develop team work and attitudes and skills that can be used in the workplace. It also involves a range of volunteer experiences such as assisting at the Rip Curl Pro surfing competition, Red Nose Day and painting the Gheringhap Street building.
Partnerships developed with various community groups and businesses have extended the volunteering opportunities.
