Privacy and Freedom of Information

The Department of Employment and MatchWorks must comply with the Information Privacy principals in the Privacy Act 1988. Individuals have the right to access a record that contains their personal information.

The Freedom of Information Act 1982 gives you the right to access documents about your personal affairs and the activities of government agencies; and the right to request information held by an agency about you be amended or removed.
