The Elevate program is designed to help job seekers gain employment, while assisting them to build a healthy lifestyle. It incorporates strategies including mindfulness, gentle exercise and developing a support network.

The Elevate program has been delivered, in collaboration with MatchWorks, in Woy Woy, Mount Druitt, Brookvale and Windsor (NSW) and in Kwinana/Rockingham (WA). The program will roll out to further ESG locations throughout the year.

MatchWorks Executive Director Renae Lowry said the eight-day program is developing a clear pathway into paid employment by addressing job seeker barriers, building their self-confidence and increasing motivation.

“The Mount Druitt program, which finished on June 5, gained excellent feedback from job seekers who rated the program a ten out of ten,” Renae said.

“The participants had a 100 per cent attendance rate over the eight days and were motivated. We will continue to work with them and support them in finding ongoing and meaningful employment.”

The Mount Druitt program concluded with a Dress for Success day, with each participant taking home a new outfit to help them in their journey to employment.
